ECU fault assessment & repair
Postal assessment and repair enquiries for supported engine control units. Tell us about the symptoms, diagnostic fault codes and checks already completed so we can discuss whether a module repair is appropriate.
- Non-starting vehicles with a suspected ECU fault
- Loss of communication or intermittent module operation
- Water damage and previous repair attempts assessed individually
Original ECU to compatible donor
Cloning depends on the hardware, software, available data and condition of the original module. A matching-looking unit or part number alone does not confirm compatibility.
- Supported engine ECU data transfer
- Body control module enquiries where supported
- Original and donor assessed for the agreed job
Your postal job, step by step
- Send the detailsShare the vehicle, symptoms, fault codes and module label. For cloning, include both labels. We confirm support, the proposed work and a quote.
- Pack and postWait for dispatch details, then protect the agreed module securely and include your contact details. For cloning, send both confirmed units labelled “original” and “donor”.
- Bench work and returnThe agreed work is completed and the modules are returned by tracked delivery. Turnaround and delivery costs are confirmed with the quote.
Repair or replacement?
The options depend on the module and its condition. If repair is not suitable, we can discuss supported cloning to a compatible donor. Repair, data recovery and cloning outcomes cannot be promised before assessment.
